Thinking Aloud

Je'Taime

While on my way to work someone texted me this word and I immediately asked her what the meaning of the word was. She said that I had to find out for myself.

So I arrived at the office, opened my computer and launched Google, typed in "Je'Taime", and pressed search! Much to my dismay Google didn't seem to give me any relevant matches. So I tried again, this time typing in Je'Taime + definition but again I wasn't able to find any good hits. So then I decided to search for an online translator and typed "Je'Taime", and translate from French to English (had the strangest feeling that this is in fact a french word). Unfortunately, the English translation alos came out "Je'Taime". Tried several translators but got the same results..

I could not believe that I was having such a difficult time finding a direct translation/meaning to this word. Especially with all the resources that we have on the internet. So after another 30 minutes of searching and browsing I then decided to ask her again what the word meant and she actually did tell me what the word meant!

It certainly turned out to be a pleasant surprise! Je'Taime!

I was searching for the meaning of Je'Taime. The next thing I knew, I was reading your blog. Could you kindly tell me what it means???

I really like this Jap song called Je'Taime and it's a shame that I dun even know the meaning of the words.

By the way, you've got a nice picture there. I saved it on my computer, so THANKS!!! :)

yes...googling does not give the meaning of the phrase...and neither does your blog entry...

je t'aime means "I love you" in French.

This guy I'm dating was calling me by my first name. It drove me crazy. I asked if he could find me a pet name. He started saying Je T'aime. I had no idea what it mean but liked the sound of it. I finally grew curious as to what it meant and googled the translation. Je T'aime, "I love you" is a far cry from the pet name I was expecting like snookem's. I'm not complaning.
